IS THERE HOPE FOR MYANMAR?
Strong Tower is partnering with a local ministry to bring the Gospel to strategic parts of Myanmar. Our team is in direct contact with various missionaries, churches and laymen who are diligently working to develop an educational program designed to teach the essentials of Faith in Jesus Christ.
Recent events in the country which have resulted in a Military coup only serve to confirm and validate the Lord's plan for the people of Myanmar.
Only a decade has past since in 2011 the people’s future was brighten as the military transferred power to a newly elected government. A country after decades of suffering under the army, is now back in the dark days of their not-so-distant past. This face respresents the many who now have targets on their backs. Targets placed there by the country's militant nationalists who are supported by the military as they continue their domestic terrorism of the country’s ethnic and religious minorities. The future is uncertain; however, "Post tenebras lux", light after darkness is possible.
Since nothing will thwart God's plan for the Gospel in Myanmar, let's first meet make it possible for the children and their caregivers to not have to worry about their next meal.
Give them hope to endure the dark days ahead. Is there hope for Myanmar? Yes
