Strong Tower Family Foundation
Founded in 2004, Strong Tower Family Ministries, began working on a long term project for children with cancer. Under the name, Cancer Kids for Christ, our family took a personal seven year battle and began a work to comfort children and families enduring this unthinkable disease. During our trial, God’s people poured out mercy and grace helping to define a vision for service. We were to serve the childhood cancer community at large both domestically and internationally with the central message of hope through Christ. As put so eloquently by our then ten-year-old son, Chandlar, “I can’t fight this battle alone… Jesus will have to do it!”. With those words ringing in our ears, we charged forward into battle.
Later, in 2006 and again in 2007, our family joined a short-term medical mission team in Eastern Russia in part to serve orphan children. A heavy burden for all suffering children was placed on our hearts upon witnessing their terrible physical condition and poor outlooks. The plight of the orphan then vividly burned on our hearts had lead us to heed God's call of adoption. In nearly an instant our family became seven with the addition of three siblings from Southern Russia.
Through much prayer and consideration, God provided us a clear vision for serving children in danger. His vision as is presently understood culminates in the organization we fondly call Strong Tower Family Ministries
